Stream1955 contains the digital signal processing and networking functions required for many kinds of next-generation network-enabled products. The module can be the core of a complete, stand-alone network player or can serve as an add-in module providing network and USB playback capability for a more sophisticated audio product.
A high-quality clock is provided to support high-performance A/D and D/A converters.
A Wi-Fi 6 (in dual-band 2.4/5GHz or tri-band 2.4/5/6 GHz configuration) and an Ethernet RMII/RGMII interface are provided for network connection. Two antennas are supported in a 2T2R configuration; one of these is shared between WLAN and Bluetooth. Up to two USB OTG interfaces are supported.
Bluetooth is supported with an internal WLAN coexistence interface.
All functions are incorporated on a small, 34x47mm low-profile PCB board featuring dual DF40 headers with 80 pins each, providing both mechanical and electrical connections to the base board.
Only a few external components are required to build up a complete product; however, Stream1955 also fits perfectly into complex product architectures.
